ORGANIZATION HISTORY
NAGAR ALO FOUNDATION emerged in 2015 as the non-profit, non-political organization at Mirpur slum area of Dhaka by an integrated initiative of a group of dedicated slum based social workers. NAGAR ALO FOUNDATION was formed to uphold the greater interest of urban poorest slum dwellers including their livelihood development, water and sanitation based improvement and socio-economic advancement. Initially a nine members convener committee was formed and accordingly a fifteen (15) members general body. Since 2016, this organization has been working for welfare of urban poor and distress and achieved the legal registration from Joint Stock Company of Bangladesh under Society Act of 1860 in the name of NAGAR ALO FOUNDATION.
